It's interesting, that those speaking of curriculum and what should be in the high school curriculum seemed to have little idea of economics curriculum which had been (and in some places still is) taught in the high school curriculum... or potential role of indirect life long learning in developing a level of economic literacy...
Took up on the use of 'post capitalist' economics by one writer to do a google search - and have favourited books and articles to read when I get time...or more aptly 'into the zone' for serious sstudy...
One side track took me into post carbon economics and 'resilience' website... this looks a rich vein for mining...a rich prospect... or is this language obsolete...need new phrases for meaning....
